Family Session in black and white!

What a special thing it is to capture two people in love with a growing family. 

Reese and Carolyn contacted me before their newborn arrived to schedule a family session at their home. I was thrilled. My wife and Reese were colleagues a few years ago. I had met him and his lovely wife a few times, and always really enjoyed their company.

The day finally came for us to shoot. It was a warm and quiet Sunday morning. They welcomed me into their home, we chatted for a moment and got right to shooting.

Everything about them and their home just felt like… them… It felt like home. It was so precious to capture them interact with their sweet baby Olympia. Their animals made an appearance in the shoot which was super fun.

I decided to share my favorite black and white images from their shoot. I feel like the tones make you focus on them, their love, and their sweet family.
